- Comply with WSH legislations, guidelines and code of practice and provide inputs for risk assessment
- Identify hazards and control measures
- Comply with safety and health management system
- Implement a permit-to-work system
- Conduct safety and health inspection
- Conduct incident investigation
On completion of this unit, learners will have the knowledge and application skills to carry out hazard identification and risk assessment, comply with the safety and health management system, co-ordinate a permit-to-work system and others
Students are assumed to have at least 1 year of WSH relevant working experience and possess:
- ES Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 or GCE “N” Level English grade 5 & Mathematics grade 5; and
- WSH skills and knowledge equivalent to that of Certificate in WSH
