Psychological First Aid (PFA) for Caregivers equips participants to support people in emotional distress, especially in caregiving contexts. It covers mental health basics, common stress responses, and the PFA framework, with practice scenarios to build confidence in applying techniques sensitively at home or in professional roles, scenarios are contextualized to suit caregivers.
Who should attend:
Family members caring for elderly, persons with disabilities, or those with chronic conditions
Domestic helpers or live-in caregivers
Volunteers and professionals supporting caregiving communities
Funding / Offsets: Eligible participants may use the AIC Caregivers Training Grant (CTG).
Singaporeans can also offset fees using SkillsFuture Credit (aged 25+).
